Wet Sounds, a division of Patrick Industries, is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing Product Development team in Rosenberg, Texas. This role will focus on the strategic development and execution of our expanding audio product line, focused on marine, powersports, motorcycle, golf cart, Jeep, and lifestyle offerings. This position will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap and ensuring successful execution from concept to launch.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end development process for a variety of consumer audio products. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-impact role that will be instrumental in growing Wet Sounds’ presence in the multiple audio markets.

 

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for all consumer audio initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Deliver clear and engaging presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Generate detailed product reports by analyzing data, market trends, and technical specifications.
  • Stay current with industry developments through continued education, workshops, and professional networking.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in consumer electronics or audio products.
  • Broad understanding of electronic audio components and systems.
  • Innovative and open-minded approach to new product development.
  • Experience working with international manufacturing partners is a plus; willingness to travel to overseas facilities is preferred but not required.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record showing the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with limited oversight
  • Strong attention to detail
