BH Electronics, a division of Patrick Industries, is looking to add a new Customer Service Representative to their team to support operations in Munford, TN. The Customer Service Representative will act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries ensuring timely responses, accurate information, and excellent customer relationship management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding available products and order status
- Process orders, returns, and track shipments using company systems
- Coordinate with Production Team to determine order fulfillment timelines and update customer of any changes as needed
- Act as the primary point of contact to help resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate log of records
- Track available inventory
- General data entry including updating company records and tracking order status in Microsoft Excel
- Answering a high volume of customer inquiries using a multiline phone system
- Other miscellaneous office duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of customer service experience; Preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook preferred
- Excellent telephone skills reflecting a positive, professional, customer focused attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with staff at all levels and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, possessing a sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate potential problems in a professional manner
- Ability to learn and embrace specific order management procedures and to follow instructions and policies related to order management
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with little to no oversight
- Strong accountability and follow-through skills
- A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
