Geremarie a subsidiary of Patrick industries, is a leader in precision manufacturing, and they are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee the daily HR functions that support our exceptional team. This role involves administering benefits, managing recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance, fostering employee relations, and supporting a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is approachable, detail-oriented, and thrives in managing day-to-day HR operations while supporting broader organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and coordinate employee benefit programs in partnership with Patrick’s Benefits team, addressing employee inquiries and ensuring smooth processes.
- Manage the recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, facilitating background checks, and onboarding new hires with a positive orientation experience.
- Provide hands-on support for employee training and development programs through platforms like SimpleTrak, assisting with scheduling, tracking completion, and facilitating group-level training sessions.
- Maintain employee records, manage HRIS data entry, and ensure accuracy in payroll-related updates.
- Partner with supervisors to develop and implement personnel development plans and coordinate performance review processes.
- Address employee relations matters, conducting investigations, supporting resolution efforts, and drafting corrective action documentation as needed.
- Coordinate and document exit interviews, sharing insights with leadership to improve employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, providing ongoing training and resources to team members and management.
- Facilitate safety and risk management efforts by collaborating with the Safety Committee, coordinating safety training, and assisting with workers’ compensation claims.
- Act as a resource for employees and managers on paid leave, open enrollment, HR policies, and procedural guidance.
- Support leadership on tactical initiatives, such as conducting turnover analysis, updating organizational documents, and leading employee engagement activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or managerial role.
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and ATS platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other HR technology tools.
- Experience in employee relations, training coordination, and recruitment processes.
- Experience overseeing training and development programs
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualificatrions:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Knowledge of Global Shop ERP and UKG Time & Attendance systems.
- Certification in PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
