The Senior Director, ERP Strategy & Delivery is accountable for defining and executing the enterprise ERP roadmap with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain) while ensuring stable, costeffective support of legacy ERP platforms during transition and coexistence periods.

 

This role blends technology leadership, operational fluency, and disciplined delivery execution. The successful candidate will ensure ERP solutions are fitforpurpose, aligned to manufacturing, supply chain, and financial processes, and delivered through modern DevOpsoriented deployment and support models that emphasize business value realization.

 

This leader will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Executive stakeholders to drive project completion, measurable outcomes, and sustainable platforms in a complex OEM component supplier environment.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

ERP Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and maintain a multiyear ERP strategy centered on continued rollout, optimization, and scaling of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain), aligned with business growth and operational maturity.
  • Establish a pragmatic coexistence and sunset strategy for legacy ERP platforms, balancing risk, cost, and business continuity.
  • Ensure all ERP investments are evaluated through a fitforpurpose lens, avoiding overcustomization and prioritizing standard capabilities where possible.

Delivery & Value Realization

  • Own endtoend delivery accountability for ERP initiatives, including scope, budget, timeline, risk, and benefits realization.
  • Drive a culture of execution discipline, ensuring projects reach completion and deliver tangible business outcomes rather than prolonged transformation cycles.
  • Translate business objectives into clear value cases, KPIs, and postimplementation success measures.

DevOps, Support & Platform Reliability

  • Establish and mature DevOpsaligned deployment and support models for D365 and related platforms, including CI/CD, environment management, testing automation, and release governance.
  • Ensure highavailability, secure, and compliant ERP operations, balancing innovation velocity with operational stability.
  • Oversee application support models for both modern and legacy ERP platforms, ensuring predictable service levels and cost transparency.

Business Partnership & Industry Alignment

Act as a trusted technology partner to Operations and Finance leadership, demonstrating fluency in:

  • Manufacturing and production environments
  • Supply chain and inventory management
  • Cost accounting, financial close, and compliance
  • Apply industry insight relevant to outdoor enthusiast OEM component suppliers, including seasonality, demand variability, and multichannel supply considerations.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead internal ERP teams and system integrator partners with clear accountability and outcomebased performance expectations.
  • Establish strong program governance, architectural standards, and decision frameworks.
  • Mentor leaders and senior practitioners across ERP, delivery management, and application support functions.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with significant ownership of ERP strategy and delivery.
  • Demonstrated success leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP programs (Finance & Supply Chain preferred).
  • Proven experience managing legacy ERP environments alongside modern cloud ERP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, operations, and finance processes, ideally within OEM or componentbased industries.
  • Track record of driving projects to completion, not just initiation or design.
  • Experience implementing DevOps or modern application lifecycle management models in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, translating technology decisions into business impact.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or outdoor recreation supply chains.
  • Experience in multisite, multiERP, or postmerger environments.
  • Familiarity with Azurebased ERP architectures, integration platforms, and data ecosystems.
  • Experience working with global or distributed operations.
