Senior Designer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and present complete décor packages to our customers, utilizing the wide array of Patrick products, services, and capabilities.
• Guide, train, and mentor Design Associates and Interns
• Assist and/or lead special projects to continuously grow, strengthen, and improve the design department and showroom
• Work with vendors and Business Units to develop new and trending product offerings to present to the market
• Submit color lab matches and/or proto requests, as specified by the customer, promptly to ensure samples or production are complete within the customer’s timeframe.
• Develop and nurture internal and external relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Assist in designing and developing showroom displays to showcase Patrick’s vast product offerings and updated design trends.
• Collaborate with sales teams, engineers, and other Designers to service our customer’s design needs.
• Gain advanced knowledge of Patrick’s product offerings and capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• BA in interior design or a related field or 5+ years of experience working in interior design or RV product development.
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience or proven leadership skills and strengths in Designer position
• Intermediate computer skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an affinity towards working with both internal and external customers
• Previous experience using CAD/CAM software and Adobe Suite is a plus
• Basic blueprint reading, basic math, and understanding of measuring devices
• Able to keep team members well informed and to draw on other's expertise when required
• The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, discrete, and possess the ability to manage confidential information while balancing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
• Demonstrates a high-level personal integrity
