The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager will own enterprise-level organic performance, developing scalable strategies spanning technical SEO, on-page optimization, content development, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and data-driven opportunity sizing. This role requires the ability to evaluate keyword demand, competitive intensity, and implementation effort to prioritize initiatives that drive incremental organic revenue.

Working closely with cross-functional teams across Patrick subsidiaries, the Search Engine Optimization Manager will serve as the central authority on organic growth strategy within a multi-brand environment translating search insights into coordinated, scalable execution.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partner with Patrick businesses to analyze organic performance, identify growth gaps, and deliver revenue-focused, data-backed recommendations.
  • Develop and manage a prioritized enterprise Search Engine Optimization (SEO) roadmap aligned with development resources, brand priorities, and revenue impact.
  • Identify and prioritize keyword and content opportunities based on search demand, commercial intent, competition, revenue contribution, and scalability.
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives with web development teams, including site migrations, crawl/index optimization, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, and remediation of technical issues.
  • Own on-page optimization strategy across key page types, ensuring strong keyword alignment, metadata optimization, semantic structure, and conversion-focused content recommendations.
  • Collaborate with PPC and marketing teams to align keyword intelligence, reduce paid/organic cannibalization, and embed SEO best practices into content strategy.
  • Develop strategies to enhance visibility in AI-generated search results and emerging generative search environments.
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs (Organic Revenue, Non-Branded Traffic, Rankings, Share of Search, Technical Health, AI visibility), translating insights into actionable roadmaps.
  • Stay current on algorithm updates, competitive trends, and AI/LLM advancements to protect and grow organic market share.
  • Champion Patrick’s BETTER values—Balance, Excellence, Trust, Teamwork, Empowerment, and Respect—in all leadership and financial management practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience, preferably in eCommerce or multi-brand environments.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable organic revenue growth for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands; motivated by revenue impact, not just rankings and traffic.
  • Strong technical SEO expertise, including website migrations, structured data implementation, technical audits, and on-site optimization.
  • Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent modeling, competitive analysis, and revenue attribution.
  • Strategic thinker who balances quick wins with long-term authority-building initiatives while remaining hands-on with technical and content execution.
  • Proficiency with leading SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets).
  • Strong analytical and ROI-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and market share expansion.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex search insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment where coordination, collaboration, and prioritization are critical.
  • Agency or multi-brand portfolio experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven search experiences and generative engine optimization is a plus.
