AMC MSM, a division of Patrick Industries, is seeking a motivated and results driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing an established book of business, building long-term relationships with new Customers and Clients, and introducing new products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to grow sales
- Identify and establish contact with potential new customers to expand business
- Introduce new product and service solutions to both current and prospective customers
- Generate quotes, ensure proper product costing, pricing, and facilitate the customer order process
- Track customer orders and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or timelines
- Collaborate with the Business Unit and Manufacturing Team to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel throughout the designated territory to establish and grow customer relationships and attend trade shows and client meetings
- Negotiate directly with clients to secure business agreements, review billing, and gain approval of charges
- Build long-term, dynamic relationships with new Customers and introduce them to new product and service solutions
- Meet and exceed planned sales and margin targets through cooperation with Sales Manager, Inside Sales Support, Manufacturing team and Supplier Sales Representatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates with sales experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably metal manufacturing or aluminum extrusion are highly desired
- Three or more years’ experience working in Outsides Sales/Project Management is preferred
- Established industry relationships preferred
- Ability to travel overnight required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization with the ability to build genuine relationships
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with an affinity towards servicing Customers and providing solutions
- A high level of personal values and integrity
- Self-motivated to work independently with changing priorities and the ability to adapt quickly
