Patrick Industries Corporate IT Department is seeking an experienced, full-time IT Network Infrastructure Supervisor to join our team. This position requires the ability to effectively multitask and handle multiple projects at the same time. In this role you will employ a Customer First Focus while providing professional and friendly support to end users. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Install voice, data, security and video cabling for inside plant service, and estimate hours and materials needed for installation projects
• Providing innovative solutions for complex problems, forward thinking
• Responsible for installing new conduit systems in new construction and renovations and ensure standards are met
• Performs adds, moves and changes in coordination with IT Field Service Technicians
• Have excellent judgment skills to be able to properly evaluate situations and immediately provide effective solutions.
• Maintain a high degree of Customer First focus for all support queries.
• Meet with departments to assist in planning move, add and change work as required
• Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems
• Lead and train Infrastructure team in cabling standards i.e. cable testing, labelling, paging
• Manage inventory of Infrastructure supplies and equipment
• Capable of ordering Infrastructure supplies and equipment for various Infrastructure projects
• Experience installing network equipment i.e. Battery Backups (UPS), Network Switches, Network Switch Cabinets, Wireless Access Points

Qualifications and Skills

• 7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience
• Manufacturing Industry experience preferred
• Must have experience working with low voltage CAT 6 cable
• Possess light carpentry experience
• Must be able to read a tape measure and use power tools
• Must be able to work in high areas
• Qualified candidates must possess reliable transportation
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Available for overnight travel as needed
• Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization and outside customers/vendors
