Our team is hiring and looking to add an HRIS Specialist to its growing Corporate HRIS team. The HRIS Specialist will primarily be responsible for providing support to end-users for HR systems with a higher concentration on the UKG Timekeeping & Attendance system. This role is expected to work closely with the HRIS Team, Business Unit HR Teams, and Operations Leaders to troubleshoot and resolve system or user login issues, perform daily system administrator tasks to ensure seamless data flow, and to provide end-user training on HRIS Applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop in-depth system knowledge of UKG Pro Workforce Management software and learn to recognize and effectively troubleshoot the different modules of the application.
- Perform routine system administrator tasks such as:
- Monitoring integration errors
- Completing data imports
- Processing data corrections
- Timeclock hardware setup and support
- Maintaining system security and user access
- Assisting with testing configurations and/or functionality
- Assist users with password resets
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes related to the HR systems.
- Assist with managing the HRIS ticketing system (ServiceNow) by triaging and assigning new tickets to the appropriate HR team member(s).
- Provide basic HRIS troubleshooting support to internal customers and identify more complex issues for escalation to senior staff.
- Provide end-user training including creating and updating training materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HRIS Specialist, HRIS Helpdesk, HRIS Administrator, or similar role or experience
- Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly named UKG Dimensions) or another UKG Timekeeping product is required
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with other HRIS/HCM systems is a plus but not required
- Service-Oriented; Must possess strong customer service skills
- Process-oriented; Ability to hold self and others accountable to carry out processes that are consistent with standards, policies, and procedures
- Data accuracy skills and high attention to detail
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to clearly and confidently convey information to various levels of the organization
- Operates with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality, ensuring sensitive data remains protected and secure at all times
- Travel for this role will be limited (< 5%) however occasional local travel may be required. Must be able to travel locally with a minimum 48-hour notice.
