Design Associate

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the Design team in developing complete décor packages for our customers, utilizing the wide array of Patrick products, services, and capabilities.
• Work with vendors and Business Units to gain an understanding of products, product use, and capabilities.
• Maintain and organize design area, showroom, and samples to ensure a professional, tidy, and organized environment
• Develop and nurture internal and external relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Assist in designing and developing showroom displays to showcase Patrick’s vast product offerings.
• Assist with special projects and presentations as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• BA in interior design or a related field or 2+ years of experience working in interior design or RV product development.
• Intermediate computer skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an affinity towards working with both internal and external customers
• Previous experience using CAD/CAM software and Adobe Suite is a plus
• Basic blueprint reading, basic math, and understanding of measuring devices
• Able to keep team members well informed and to draw on other's expertise when required
• The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, discrete, and possess the ability to manage confidential information while balancing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
• Demonstrates a high-level personal integrity
