The Finance D365 Manager will be responsible for providing functional support for the company's ERP system, D365. This role focuses on accounting practices and requires hands-on learning and troubleshooting user issues. The specialist will work closely with users from all functional areas to ensure efficient and effective use of the ERP system.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide functional support for Patrick’s ERP systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, ensuring clear and comprehensive responses.
- Document processes and procedures for ERP system usage.
- Understand and apply accounting practices within the ERP system.
- Learn and understand how postings are made and research discrepancies.
- Assist in cutovers and go-lives for new branches, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Train users on each functional area of the ERP system, within Finance and Accounting.
- Build relationships with users and provide ongoing support.
- Travel as needed for cut-overs, go-lives, and additional training.
- Analyze business processes and translate them into ERP system functionalities.
- Clean and manipulate data in Excel to support ERP system setup.
- Think outside the box to develop innovative solutions for user needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Knowledge of Patrick Industries and their operations and usage of the Dynamics Platform is a plus but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate business atmosphere.
- Proven experience in D365.
- Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
- Ability to self-teach and learn on the job.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to document processes and procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Uplifting attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Ability to travel for work as required.
