Patrick Industries Corporate IT Department is growing and looking to add a D365 ERP Platform Engineer to our expanding Team. In this role you will be primarily responsible for working with teams to understand their needs and enhance and modify Enterprise systems, as well as creating custom applications based on needs of Internal Customers who use the products daily.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design technical solutions in Reporting, Integration, and extensions.
  • Identify and enhance error handling mechanisms, why integrations are failing, and ensuring timely notifications are sent out.
  • Primary focus on Microsoft D365 Cloud design, build and test new reports, integration and BI for reporting
  • Support the design build and test for enhancements and projects that support the business
  • Provide technical expertise in Microsoft D365 Operations & Finance
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to ensure the timely delivery of technical solutions
  • Oversight of non-production environments including automated backups, data synchronization and decommissioning
  • Coordinate upgrades, data refresh, downtime, and restoration tasks with appropriate teams
  • Ensure Technical Design Documents and Solution Documents are updated
  • Prepare and apply upgrades to test and production environments
  • Participate in discussions with Microsoft and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide technical solutions that are based on industry best practice.
  • Provide architectural support to Power Platform enhancement projects
  • Deliver functional services across the entire product lifecycle
  • Conduct quality and consistency reviews to identify business and systems impacts
  • Perform fit/gap analysis to relative features and connected applications
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain custom web pages and user interfaces
  • Act as the back-end Systems Administrator and primary point of contact with Microsoft when handling escalated tickets

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration
  • 7+ years of technical experience working with Microsoft Enterprise systems including Dynamics AX or D365 Cloud
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Cloud based applications experience; Microsoft LCS or Power Platform experience will be considered a plus
  • Proven experience designing Application Program Interfaces (API)
  • Must be able to work with multiple internal departments to ensure that all communication is efficient throughout the implementation of a new project
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Qualified candidates must feel comfortable working independently
